Greening Australia

Greening Australia 25 Jun 2008

At Martins Integrated, we take our social responsibility very seriously. Whether that’s working with the underprivileged at the Hutt Street Centre or doing our bit for the environment, we’re a company which firmly believes in giving something back to society, either through professional support, donations or through special projects.

One such event was this year’s Greening Australia Tree Planting Day – a nationally coordinated project to recognise Arbor Day.

Four Martins Integrated families travelled to the Gemtree Wetlands at Mclaren Flat to help plant fragile waterplants in the complex. These plants are needed to support the wetland habitat, which is home to four native frog species as well as numerous other native reptiles and birds.

As well as Kym Martin and family, and other Martins Integrated crew, around 100 people gathered to place approximately 500 plants in key points around the wetland, with the aim of preserving the delicate local ecosystem.

This is just one of the ways Martins Integrated seeks to contribute to a better society today and for the future.
